The stage is set for the seventh match of IPL 2025 where Sunrisers Hyderabad are taking on Rishabh Pant at their home turf. It is a big game for LSG, as they have already lost the first match, and if they win this game it would be a big morale-booster against a strong SRH unit.

Rishabh Pant Makes Savage Comment In Front Of Pat Cummins

As far as SRH are concerned, they have been playing ultra-aggressive brand of cricket, and have the highest score in the history of the IPL, 287. They have started off the 2025 season with a bang as well, and smashed 286 in the first game against RR. 

Now, there is a hope that they will go after LSG bowlers too, who are relatively inexperienced and it could end in another massive total.Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to field first and was asked about the chaseable total on this pitch. Rishabh Pant who is known for his carefree attitude, came out with an interesting reply and stated that that it doesn't matter how much SRH score, his team would chase it down.

"We are going to bowl first. With the way our team is playing, we would like to get them out early and chase down the total. I think it definitely depends on the team combination. With the way our team is batting, we have decided to bowl first. Even if the other team scores 230 or 240, we will be able to chase it. The only change is Avesh Khan comes in and Shahbaz misses out tonight. See, it doesn't matter how many runs they score. We are going to chase them down."

It was quite a bold remark from Rishabh Pant, and he has indirectly started the mind games before the game. Thus, it would be interesting to see how both teams go about their business, and one thing is for sure, there are likely to be plenty of fireworks.
