Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) had to deal with such experience on Thursday (March 27) when they took on Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 7 of IPL 2025 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.

Travis Head Gets Lucky!

Considering the fact that the wicket would have been of Travis Head, Rishabh Pant's LSG were upset. The incident happened when Head tried to attack Ravi Bishnoi inside the Powerplay, only to find a huge top edge. Nicholas Pooran, who was placed at the long on, had plenty of time to see the ball.

Yet he dropped one of the simplest of chances, and hence, Head got a crucial lifeline. In the process, Bishnoi, who would have struck on his very first ball, did not get the success he was looking for.

Meanwhile, SRH are 76/2 after 7.2 overs, with Head leading from the front after Abhishek Sharma's wicket, batting on 47* off 27 balls. Nitish Kumar Reddy is batting from the other end, batting on 20* off 11 balls. Prince Yadav has taken the ball in hand, and it would be interesting to see how the battle against Head would fare.
