In the 29th Match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 edition, Mumbai Indians (MI) played against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on April 14, 2024 at the Wankhede Stadium. The Ruturaj Gaikwad franchise won the match by 20 runs in a highly anticipated and thriller clash of 'El Clasico of IPL'. 

The legendary MS Dhoni came up with a brilliant cameo as he smashed three sixes flying in the final over of the first innings, setting a total of 206/4. 

In the run chase, Rohit Sharma shared a brilliant 105 runs in 63 balls but this did not prove to be enough for a win for MI. However, post the game, the former MI skipper shared a brief anecdote from 2007 with Romario Sherpherd. 

Hitman met 20-year-old Rohit in Heartwarming Video

In a video shared by the Mumbai Indians on social media (on X), the clip features a heartwarming conversation and lighthearted moment between former captain of MI Rohit Sharma and Romario Shepherd. The Mumbai players are talking to each other about a picture that is seen in the video. 

Romario Shepherd asked Rohit about his age in the picture and with a sweet gesture he said that he was 20-year-old and he explained that he was struggling to get a beard. Interestingly, the still was from India's triumph during the 2007 World T20 (now, known as T20 World Cup).
