On Thursday, July 4, T20 World Cup 2024 winners India landed in New Delhi. They received a thunderous welcome from the fans gathered in thousands despite the light drizzle in the national capital.

The India side beat South Africa in the finals on June 29 but had to stay in Barbados for four days because of cyclone Beryl. The BCCI arranged a special charter flight, which brought the Indian stars alongside media personnel back to India.

Upon landing in New Delhi, the players headed to their hotels to get ready to meet Narendra Modi for breakfast. The first visuals of players leaving for the PM's residence are out, and the players can be seen wearing a specially designed 'Champions' Jersey.

India star Sanju Samson took to Instagram to share the photo of the jersey. It is the same Adidas jersey worn by the players during the T20 World Cup, but it has the 'Champions' Word written on the front.

Also, in the visuals that have been doing rounds on the internet, players can be seen boarding the bus wearing the customised 'Champions' Jersey.
