After securing a clinical 2-0 victory in the three-match T20I series against Ireland, India are gearing up for the Asia Cup 2023, set to commence on August 30. Ahead of the marquee event, the Indian players are toiling hard in the practice camp in Alur, Karnataka, under the coaching staff's guidance.
Meanwhile, experienced Indian players Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer exhibited red-hot batting form in the practice game held at the camp. In a video doing rounds on social media, Kohli and Iyer are seen neutralising the rampant Indian bowling attack with the utmost ease.

Kohli has been a prolific performer for India in ODIs, amassing 12898 runs, including 46 hundreds. He had an impressive outing in the recently concluded Test series against West Indies in the Caribbean and will be keen to translate his success in the Asia Cup.
On the other hand, Iyer made his comeback to the ODI setup after a long injury layoff, which kept him out of the IPL 2023. The stylish Mumbai batter has looked promising in the nets and is the front-runner to bat at number four in the showpiece event.
