On Tuesday, India’s batting maestro Virat Kohli shared the first glimpse of his Alibaug home. Kohli took to X (formerly Twitter) to post a video detailing the 12-month journey of building his new “dream home” in Awas, located on the outskirts of Alibaug. 

He described the process as a seamless experience and expressed gratitude to the Avas team for making his dream home a reality.

In his post, Virat Kohli wrote, “The journey of building my Alibaug home has been a seamless experience, and seeing it all come together is truly gratifying. Huge thanks to the entire Avas team for making our dream home a reality. Can't wait to enjoy every moment here with my loved ones!” The video showcased the lavish interiors and serene garden, highlighting why the project was an obvious choice for him.

The 35-year-old cricketer and his family acquired an 8-acre plot in 2022 for Rs 19 crore and later added a Rs 13 crore bungalow in Awas village, as reported. The location, known for its quieter environment and cleaner shores due to minimal tourism, provides a perfect retreat for the Kohli family.

Kohli’s announcement comes after his recent retirement from the T20I format, following India’s T20 World Cup victory in Barbados. He was last seen in London, spending time with his wife and children.
