Virat Kohli and his special connection with Bengaluru over the years has been a sight to behold. The legendary batter first represented RCB as a 19-year old in the inaugural edition of IPL back in 2008 and his bond with the franchise and Karnataka has just grown stronger with each passing year.

In the RCB Unbox event ahead of IPL 2024 at M. Chinnaswamy that special connection was evident yet again as the whole Chinnaswamy roared in joy when their beloved king made his entry at the stadium. He then unveiled the new jersey as well and delighted fans with a special message in a local language Kannada. 

It was a bold message from Kohli where he stated that this is a start of new chapter for RCB. It is indeed, a fresh start for the 'Men in Red and Gold' as they have changed the game to Royal Challengers Bengaluru from Royal Challengers Bangalore.

They have also changed the shades in their jersey and have added blue colour to the upper portion of their jersey. Also, the RCB women team was felicitated for their title win in WPL 2024 and now all eyes would be on Faf du Plessis and co. in their first game of IPL 2024 against CSK at Chepauk.
