On Monday, the Super Fours encounter between India and Pakistan in Asia Cup 2023 finally came to an end after two days of play when the Rohit Sharma-led XI completed a convincing victory.

India demolished Pakistan by a record-breaking margin of 228 runs and will once again be seen taking the field today against defending champions Sri Lanka.

For India, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Kuldeep Yadav starred, who, after the conclusion of the match, were found enjoying in the hotel pool.

In a clip shared by the Board of Control of Cricket for India (BCCI), Kohli could be seen enjoying in the pool with Gill, Ravindra Jadeja, and Sharma.

Captain Sharma could be seen dancing alone as well. The video also showcased Kohli cutting a celebratory cake following his 47th ODI century.

In the post-match presentation, Sharma praised players like KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, and Kuldeep Yadav, apart from hailing the win as a team success. 

Coming back from an injury, Rahul, who was a last-minute addition to the playing XI, registered a brilliant 111 off 106 while Yadav bamboozled the Pakistan batter with his left-arm leg-spin bowling, clinching a memorable five-wicket haul. 

Team India is currently leading the Super 4s group standing thanks to a superior net run rate over Pakistan and Sri Lanka. A win today against Lanka will help India move an inch closer to the final.
