The ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 has been flawless for Team India, who under Rohit Sharma have won all their three matches, and sit second on the points table.
India have been clinical in their performances with both bat and ball, showcasing their readiness. However, despite all the form, Team India batters were seen sweating it out in Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Wednesday, undergoing power-hitting drills during nets.
Sharma and Co. will take on neighbours Bangladesh today, which is expected to be a close contest, given their recent record against them.
For India, former skipper Virat Kohli, vice-captain Hardik Pandya and wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul were seen practicing range hitting, and depositing balls into the stands, with fans cheering and enjoying themselves.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a clip on the social media platform 'Instagram' where Kohli, Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, Ravindra Jadeja, and Rahul were seen smashing sixes into the crowd.

Apart from Sharma, Kohli, and Rahul, other Indian middle-order batters are fairly untested and will want to keep their focus and training levels up moving into the business end of the competition.
A win for India, will almost put them one step near the qualification spot for the semi-finals, and will level them with New Zealand, who led the points table with eight.
