Vaibhav Suryavanshi first grabbed limelight by becoming youngest centurion in youth cricket and then was bought by RR for 1.10 Crore. He impressed in the Emerging Asia Cup after that and then went onto play List A cricket as well where he impressed with his power-hitting.
In the last month or so, he has been practicing with Rajasthan Royals management and has been sitting hitting the bowlers all over the park. Now, Rajasthan Royals' official Instagram handle has released another video where the 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi is seen hitting some big shots.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi Shows His Range In RR Camp
He plays not only those trademark shots towards deep mid-wicket and down the ground, but also comes up with a brilliant reverse-hit. The feature of his batting is that the youngster hits the ball without much fuss or moving in the crease and it is surely seem to be impressing the RR management.
In the video, Vikram Rathour and head coach Rahul Dravid is seen pretty impressed with the 13-year-old and the former comes to Vaibhav to tell him that we will do range hitting now. In reply, the kid asks was this not a range hitting and it brings laughter all around. Dravid replies with big smile on his face and praises the batter that he saw full range and reverse-hit was quite a good shot.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is naturally an opener and with Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal currently injured, the 13-year-old could get a look in and become the youngest debutant in IPL history.
