Harmanpreet Kaur is the current Indian captain and MI captain in WPL. However, even she could not stop RCB fans from cheering crazily for their team at the Chinnaswamy. In the 7th match of WPL 2025 between RCB women and MI women, Harmanpreet Kaur was forced to block her ears with hands due to the loud chants for RCB at their home ground.

Bengaluru Fans Show Insane Support For RCB Against Arch-Rivals MI

The moment came at the end of the 13th over of RCB's innings when Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh were batting for the home side. The crowd was going crazy with their usual support for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the opposition captain had to protect herself with fingers on her ears, showing the kind of insane love fans have for RCB.

It was also a very high-profile game with two top teams with huge fan-following were going head-to-head in the first game of the season at RCB's home ground. Eventually, MI won the game in the last over, but the match lived upto its billing with momentum swinging from one team to another.

RCB batted first and managed to post 167 on the board with Ellyse Perry standing tall under pressure with her magnificent 81 from just 43 balls. In reply, MI started off on a positive note but RCB fought back, only to lose the momentum again with Harmanpreet Kaur's fifty. The MI captain's wicket brought back RCB in the game, but the visitors still managed to get over the line with Amanajot Kaur hitting some lusty blows in the crunch final moments of the game.
