Rohit Sharma, a beacon of brilliance in Indian cricket’s constellation stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication and exceptional skill. Quite recently, he listed down some of his favorite shot-makers during a candid conversation with OneCricket’s own correspondent Vimal Kumar on the latter’s YouTube channel. The current Indian captain praised one of his teammates for his cover drive dexterity, and named one all-time batting great as the best straight driver the world has ever seen.

Moreover, Sharma also named the most difficult bowler he ever faced, and one former Australian speed gun whom he would have liked to come across at some point of his career.

India’s all-format captain Rohit Sharma recently interacted with Vimal Kumar for a Rapid-Fire question-and-answer session on the latter’s YouTube channel. When he was asked to pick the favorite of his three ODI double tons, the cricketer straight up refused to respond, and claimed that each his three epics has a significance behind them for one reason or the other.

Sharma, who has mastered the art of pull shots himself, named Ricky Ponting as the greatest puller of the cricket ball.

Furthermore, he praised his current teammate Virat Kohli for having the best technique for cover-drives, and picked all-time batting great Sachin Tendulkar as the best straight-driver in the business.

Among rising talents in international cricket, Sharma singled out his active opening partner Shubman Gill and picked Mumbai Indians and Indian teammate Suryakumar Yadav for his innovative scoop shots.

When asked to reveal the toughest bowler he has ever countered, the 36-year-old named former South African quick Dale Steyn. Additionally, he picked retired Australian Glenn McGrath as one opponent from the yesteryears he would have liked to face at some stage of his career.
