In a surprising turn of events at the Sindh Premier League in Pakistan, a video capturing a peculiar incident has gone viral on social media. During a match between Karachi and Mirpurkhas Tigers, a bowler refrained from making an appeal after the ball hit the batter’s pad. 

Astonishingly, the on-field umpire declared the batter out without any formal appeal from the fielding team, leaving both players and spectators surprised.

The match, part of the Sindh Premier League that commenced on January 25, witnessed Karachi's batting line-up facing an early setback. During the third over, pacer Sameen Gul took the attack to Muhammad Akhlaq, who found himself in a challenging position as the ball struck his pad and it seems like it was missing the stumps. Surprisingly, Gul refrained from making an LBW appeal, yet the umpire, defying conventional norms, signaled Akhlaq LBW out.

The batter, Muhammad Akhlaq, expressed his surprise with a smile, while social media exploded with discussions about this unprecedented incident. The video has since become viral, sparking debates among cricket fans about the umpire's decision.
