Abu Dhabi Knight Riders started the tournament campaign with a thumping victory. However, after that, they lost momentum and went on to lose their next two games back-to-back. They recently made a comeback against the Desert Vipers.  

They are entering this game on the back of a six-wicket victory over the Vipers. Batting first, the Vipers posted 154 runs on the board, losing eight wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In response, the Knight Riders chased down the target in just 17.2 overs.
