In a significant moment, one of the most explosive batters in the world Travis Head has landed in Lahore, Pakistan on Monday, February 17, ahead of the forthcoming Champions Trophy 2025. The left-handed opener alongside the entire Australian men's cricket contingent was seen arriving for the prestigious 8-team tournament which is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, February 19.

The current ODI World Champions got a grand welcome in Lahore as they will be featuring in Group B and will kick-off their campaign against the old rivals England later this week on February 22 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Here is the video of Travis Head arriving in Lahore alongside the entire Australian contingent.

The Champions Trophy 2025 is going to be one special event as the competition is making its return after a long eight-year hiatus. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and International Cricket Council (ICC) are working hand in hand to meet people's expectations and make the tournament a grand success.

Moreover, the tournament is a little more significant when it comes to Australian cricket as despite winning it twice in 2006 and 2009, the kangaroos are yet to win a single fixture in this tournament in 16 years.

Notably, the Australians have suffered some real setbacks to their plans as some of their key players wouldn't be able to be part of the tournament for several reasons. However, they will be looking to get on with their issues and Head, being one of the main architects of the 2023 World Cup victory, will be eyeing to break their curse in the tournament and lift the title for a record third time.
