Kane Williamson has signed a deal with the London Spirit franchise to feature in The Hundred 2025 season later this year. It is worth noting that the legendary New Zealand batter went unsold at the IPL 2025 mega auction last November.

Williamson will also lead the franchise, taking over the captaincy responsibility from Dan Lawrence after the team finished at the bottom of the points table last year.

Kane Williamson will play, and also lead the London Spirit franchise in Men’s The Hundred 2025 season. On February 17, the franchise roped in the legendary New Zealand batter and confirmed the same through their social media accounts.

The upcoming season will also mark Kane Williamson’s maiden outing in The Hundred, ECB’s unique 100-ball tournament that launched in 2021.

The Hundred 2025 season is scheduled to launch on August 5 with a match between London Spirit and Oval Invincibles at the former’s home ground, i.e., the iconic Lord’s in London.
