Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav recently visited Shirdi to seek the divine blessings of Shri Sai Baba ahead of the upcoming IPL 2025 season. The 34-year-old was spotted attending the prominent temple in Shirdi along with his wife, Devisha Shetty.
It is worth noting that Suryakumar has not played a single competitive match since his twin appearances for the Mumbai cricket team in the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy season in February. The upcoming IPL 2025 season will mark his return to the field after enjoying India’s 2025 ICC Champions Trophy win from the sidelines.

Back in 2024 last year prior to the IPL 2025 mega auction, Suryakumar Yadav was retained by the Mumbai Indians franchise alongside Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma and captain Hardik Pandya.
The 34-year-old recently starred in an IPL 2025 commercial for Mumbai Indians alongside his teammates, as shared by the official broadcasters of the tournament.
The IPL 2025 season is set to launch from March 22 onwards with a match between RCB and defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The Mumbai Indians, under the leadership of Hardik Pandya, will play their first match of the season the following day on March 23 against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
