Indian batter Shubman Gill was spotted attending Rohan Bopanna's Australian Open 2024 victory bash, mere days after starring in Team India's emphatic 106-run win over the visiting English cricket team.

Legendary Indian tennis player Bopanna recently won the Men's Doubles title alongside Matthew Ebden at the 2024 Australian Open. The win also helped him become the new number-one player in the segment, achieving the same at the age of 43.


Shubman Gill attends Rohan Bopanna’s victory bash

On February 9, Shubman Gill was spotted attending the victory bash of Australian Open 2024 doubles title winner and Indian tennis legend Rohan Bopanna.

The star batsman donned casual party wear as he made his way into the One8 Commune restaurant, which also happens to be owned by Gill's teammate Virat Kohli.

On the cricketing front, Shubman Gill recently pounded 104 scintillating runs from just 147 balls against England at Vizag. His innings helped Team India set a daunting 399-run target for the visitors before bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin secured a clinical 106-run win for their side.

Gill is now slated to take the field for the Indian team in the upcoming third Test match of the series.

The 24-year-old was selected by the BCCI in India's 17-player squad for the remaining three fixtures on February 10 alongside captain Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and others.

The much-awaited third Test is set to be staged between February 15 and February 19 at Rajkot's Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium.
