The Champions Trophy 2025 is around the corner, and the host nation Pakistan is all set to unleash their world-class facilities in the ICC event. The stadiums have been inaugurated and one of the them is Gaddafi stadium in Lahore which has transformed unbelievably after lot of deliberations and debates.
On Friday, 7th of February, PCB revealed Gaddafi Stadium with fans flocking the stadium in full numbers. Pakistan cricket team was also in attendance while various former and current dignitaries of PCB were also invited. Pakistan's new jersey for Champions Trophy was also revealed and the likes of Ali Zafar and Aima Baig sizzled with their soulful songs.
Pakistan Cricketers And Fans Enjoy World Class Facilities At The Gaddafi Stadium
The Pakistan cricketers clearly enjoyed the ceremony along with the fans, and now a video from the official X handle of Pakistan Cricket has posted a video where the cricket team is taking photos, videos and enjoying the ceremony. The video shows star players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf along with many others and the light show turned out to be quite a spectacle.
They were also seen enjoying each other's company during the event and clearly seemed to be happy about the facilities at the Gaddafi stadium.
The first game in the newly renewed stadium is the opening encounter of the ODI tri-series and it is between the home team and New Zealand. After the tri-series, the stadium will also host matches of Champions Trophy and if India do not qualify for the final, it will be the venue of the finale of Champions Trophy.
