Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma joined Mumbai's training sessions ahead of the second phase of the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy, and it is the perfect example of walking the walk and not just talking the talk. His intention to work on regaining his form amid growing scrutiny of his future in the longest format shows his intent and focus on working on himself.

After 2015, Rohit Sharma was seen at the Mumbai Ranji team's practice session ahead of their sixth-round game against Jammu and Kashmir. Though his involvement in any remaining matches is yet to be confirmed, his appearance during the centre-wicket session with head coach Omkar Salvi suggests he might play at least in one of the remaining games.

This move comes after a challenging period for Rohit in Test cricket, where he struggled in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and against Bangladesh and New Zealand. Despite his poor form, Rohit attended a review meeting with head coach Gautam Gambhir and BCCI's secretary Devajit Saikia to evaluate the team's performance.

The last time Rohit featured in a Ranji Trophy match was in 2015. Now, it remains to be seen whether Rohit Sharma will be playing in Mumbai's upcoming match against Jammu and Kashmir on January 23. The highly-anticipated match will determine their qualification into the knockout stages.
