The ongoing 33rd match of the Big Bash League between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Thunder is a perfect example of how cricket meets entertainment. A hilarious moment occurred mid-way as Scorchers' star player Aaron Hardie fell over the fence while attempting to grab onto the catch of Sam Konstas.

Konstas, who presented a thrilling show for the viewers with his entertaining knock of 53 runs off 42 balls, was on the verge of being dismissed earlier; however, luck favoured him. In the 14th over, Cooper Connolly bowled a full-length delivery right on the stumps. Sam Konstas broke his shackles with a fancy shot.

He spread up on the front foot and got down on one knee. He went for the reverse sweep and got it over the short third man for a boundary. Aaron Hardie ran too fast to stop the ball from going beyond the boundary; however, it was too late. Hardie crashed onto the fence and fell over it, sending everyone in splits.

What is happening in THU vs SCO?

Sydney Thunder posted a total of 158/7 in 20 overs, despite losing wickets in clusters. Sam Konstas gave them a strong start with a quick-fire fifty but ran out of partners. Lance Morris's double-wicket over during the powerplay put the Thunder on the back foot.

The spin trio of Ashton Agar, Cooper Connolly, and Matthew Spoors kept the pressure on, picking crucial wickets. Konstas was dismissed in the Power Surge, but Tom Andrews and Chris Green played vital cameos, combining for a 44-run partnership for the 8th wicket to lift Thunder past 150 and rescue them from 114/7.
