[Watch] Rohit Sharma-Led India Arrives In Kerala For 2023 World Cup Warm-Up

Following Team India's washout warm-up affair against England, Rohit Sharma and co. have set base in Thiruvananthapuram for their next World Cup 2023 practice game. As of now, the 'Men in Blue' are slated to face the Netherlands on October 3 at the city's iconic Greenfield International Stadium.

Several Indian players, including Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Shubman Gill, and Hardik Pandya, among others, were recently seen exiting the Thiruvananthapuram airport as they made their way to the team bus. As one can expect, the players received a roaring welcome from an over-enthusiastic crowd waiting to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars at the airport premises.

Team India arrives in Kerala for final World Cup 2023 warm-up

The Indian team was slated to face defending champions England on September 30 in Guwahati; however, their planned fixture was abandoned due to ceaseless rain at the venue.

They will now face the Netherlands on October 3 at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram for their final warm-up fixture before commencing their World Cup 2023 campaign later in the same week.

A couple of days prior to their meeting with the Netherlands, several Indian players were seen making their way out of the Thiruvananthapuram airport. While doing so, they were greeted with loud cheers from fans waiting out at the premises.

The Indian team, under Rohit Sharma, will subsequently Australia to kick off their World Cup 2023 run. Their much-awaited bout will be held on October 8 in Chennai's M. A. Chidambaram Stadium.
