Singling out the captain of the Indian team, Rohit Sharma, and spinner, Kuldeep Yadav, Shadab showcased a deep respect for his cricketing counterparts.

Shadab's recent encounter with the Indian team during the Asia Cup 2023 saw him facing the Indian batting lineup, where he grasped the depth of Rohit's batting might. According to Shadab, once settled at the crease, Rohit becomes an almost insurmountable challenge for any bowler.

“I like Rohit Sharma very much. He is very dangerous once he gets set and it is very difficult to dismiss him,” said Shadab to Cricbuzz.

As a fellow leg-spinner, Shadab's appreciation for Kuldeep Yadav stemmed from recognizing the skills required to succeed on the often unforgiving flat tracks of the subcontinent.

“As far as bowler is concerned, I like Kuldeep [Yadav] since I’m a leg-spinner. He is in good form and bowls well despite flat tracks in India,” added the Pakistan all-rounder.

While Shadab rested his bowling arm in the warm-up clash against New Zealand, which the Men in Green Lost, fans will be keenly awaiting his performance in Pakistan's upcoming game against Australia on October 3.

As the Pakistan team gears up for World Cup 2023 after their arrival in Hyderabad, the entire cricketing world is especially poised for the electrifying showdown between arch-rivals India and Pakistan, slated for October 14 in Ahmedabad.
