Star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant seems to have found a fun interactive way to kill the time as Team India awaits its opening T20 World Cup 2024 match against Ireland. 

A day after India’s warm-up fixture against Bangladesh in New York, Pant shared a hilarious footage on social media where he can be seen playing a game of golf with Suryakumar Yadav at the team hotel.

Interestingly, Pant tried his hand at golf with a cricket bat instead of the club, and celebrated his putt with much fervor in the hallway.

On June 2, Rishabh Pant shared a short footage of his hallway golf session with teammate Suryakumar Yadav. Using his bat instead of the golf club, the dashing wicketkeeper-batter aced his stroke inside a paper-bag and celebrated the occasion with much zeal.

Rishabh Pant and Suryakumar Yadav will be entering the 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA just a week after the conclusion of a hectic IPL 2024 season in India. 

Moreover, the two cricketers also came across Bangladesh in India’s lone warm-up game at New York’s Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.

Pant cracked an unbeaten 32-ball 53 in the match while Suryakumar pounded four boundaries in his 18-ball 31. Team India charted 182-5 from 20 overs with the bat before Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Dube, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj restricted the Bangladesh team to 122-9.

The Indian team, under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, is slated to face Ireland in their opening match of the 2024 T20 World Cup on June 5 in New York.
