Rishabh Pant, on his road to recovery, has stumbled upon several of his Indian teammates. The dynamic wicketkeeper-batsman shared an image across his social media accounts, where he can be seen hanging out with KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj among others.

Pant is currently undergoing his rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. The academy is situated next to the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, where he was re-united by his teammates.

Rishabh Pant reunion fun with ‘gang’

Rishabh Pant posed alongside KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Yuzvendra Chahal at the gym of the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The 25-year-old shared pictures of his reunion, where he and Thakur can be seen playfully heckling ace spinner Chahal.

Pant was involved in a near-fatal car accident near Dehradun last December. While the veteran stumper escaped the incident, he sustained several injuries and was subsequently admitted to the hospital.

As predicted, the Delhi Capitals has been out of action since, and is currently on a road to attain full recovery ahead of the 2023 World Cup at home later this year.

A couple of weeks, Pant shared an update of his recovery on social media. In a 32-second video, he was seen climbing up the stairs without any exterior help. In the caption, he wrote:

“Not bad yaar Rishabh ❤️❤️😂. Simple things can be difficult sometimes 😇”

Ever since his injury, the limited-overs wicketkeeping role for Team India has been handed over to Ishan Kishan. Meanwhile, KS Bharat made his Test debut in place of the senior glovesman, during India’s home series against Australia.
