Despite winning three games in a row in the ongoing World Cup 2023, Team India have a headache looming around in the form of Ravichandran Ashwin.
The ace Indian spinner played in the tournament opener against Australia, but was dropped for the next two matches and was replaced by Shardul Thakur in the playing XI.

The off-break bowler spent considerable time in the nets and was constantly monitored by Rahul Dravid and bowling coach Paras Mhambrey.
There is a great chance that Shardul will be made to sit out of the next game to incorporate Ashwin in the playing XI. Moreover, the presence of three left-handers in Bangladesh's top-7 batters will tempt the Indian think-tank to consider Ashwin for this crucial World Cup match.
