The Pakistan cricket team are currently in India to play the ODI World Cup, scheduled to get underway on October 5. The Men in Green did not have an ideal start in the warm-ups, having lost to New Zealand by five wickets despite posting 345/5 on the board.

To get back the momentum, Babar Azam and Co. will next play Australia on October 3, at the same Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, where they played against the Kiwis.

In between, Shadab Khan attended a press conference, highlighting Indian conditions before the main event begins. While explaining, the all-rounder made a bold remark, saying the conditions in Hyderabad are very similar to what they have in Rawalpindi.

It is important to note that Rawalpindi had been widely criticized due to flat tracks and smaller boundaries. Hence, Shadab's wild comment on Hyderabad took little time before going viral on social media.

Interestingly, Shadab, 24 now, did not bowl a single over in their outing against New Zealand in Hyderabad. Instead, the Men in Green used Usama Mir, Mohammad Nawaz, and Agha Salman as spinners.

Shadab will look to make a significant impact for Pakistan as their vice-captain, with Babar Azam leading the charge.
