Alyssa Healy hit a huge six against Afy Fletcher on Sunday (X.com)
On Sunday (October 1), Australia's Alyssa Healy showed her prowess against the West Indies in the first T20I of the three-match series at the North Sydney Oval, Sydney. Healy, regarded as one of the cleanest hitters in women's cricket, smacked a huge six against Afy Fletcher that left the ground and traveled far and beyond.
The seventh over of Australia's innings began with a juicy full toss from Fletcher, and Healy seized the opportunity to go berserk. She came down the track and clubbed the ball well over deep mid-wicket before the ball went out of the ground.
Healy was seen having a light chat with Tahlia McGrath, who was all smiles after watching her partner smash an enormous six.

With Healy's 29-ball 56 and Tahlia McGrath's 32-ball 60, Australia chased down a 148-run target with ease, completing the task with 40 balls and eight wickets remaining.
However, courtesy of hitting a scintillating 74-ball 99 not out followed by 1/17, Hayley Matthews was named the Player of the Match for her distinguished all-round efforts.
Australia will again play West Indies on Monday (October 2) at the same venue. If Healy & co. win, they will take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
