Babar Azam, the top-ranked ODI batsman in the world, had an amazing debut in India. Against New Zealand in the first World Cup warm-up game, the Pakistan skipper hit a glorious 84-ball 80, which, albeit, went in a losing cause.

Pakistan will next play against Australia on October 3 in their second and final warm-up match at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. There, Babar would love to maintain his good form before the main event.

Hence, the 28-year-old is putting in some serious work in the gym in addition to his rigorous training sessions with the bat.

Babar posted a few images of himself working out in the gym on all of his social media accounts with the caption '🧘🏼‍♂️💪🏻'.

Babar is having a phenomenal run in world cricket, particular in the ODIs. He is therefore expected to win the elusive World Cup trophy, which they last won under Imran Khan in 1992.

Pakistan will begin their World Cup campaign on October 6, against the Netherlands in Hyderabad. After that, they will take on Sri Lanka on October 10, and then Rohit Sharma's India on October 14 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
