There is often debate about who is the greatest cricketer of all time. Often, people give their opinions and explain their reasons, but KL Rahul didn't need to explain. 

However, his choice was neither Virat Kohli nor Rohit Sharma, two of the greatest players of the modern era as well as teammates for many years.

During an interview with JioCinema, the 31-year-old unhesitatingly picked Sachin Tendulkar as the G.O.A.T. of cricket. The Master Blaster's illustrious dominance over the years has inspired many seasoned cricketers around the world, and Rahul is no different.

The talismanic cricketer, who is currently captaining India against Australia in an ODI series, also mentioned that Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid encouraged him to pick up a bat and play the game in his early years.

In the same interview, Rahul revealed his favourite cricket shot is cover drive. In addition, he also mentioned he would have loved to play the scoop shot the way AB de Villiers used to play day in and day out.

Meanwhile, Rahul admitted Rashid Khan is the one against whom he has felt uncomfortable to bat across formats.

As for Rahul's favorite athlete across sports, he chose Roger Federer from lawn tennis.
