Naseem Shah, the young Pakistani pacer is one of the brightest talent in world cricket currently. He made his debut at the age of just 16 in a Test match at the Gabba, Brisbane and since then has grown by leaps and bounds in stature. His is now a regular across formats for Pakistan and is one of their premier seamer.

However, Naseem Shah has time and again shown his antics with the bat too and won a game for Pakistan against Afghanistan in Asia Cup 2022 with a six in the final over. The history has repeated itself now in the second ODI of the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Afghanistan as Naseem smashed a boundary off the penultimate ball to take Pakistan over the line when they needed 3 off 2 balls with just a final wicket in hand.

It was an intense affair with emotions flowing high from both the sides and Naseem's heroics made sure that Pakistan once again emerge victorious in an intense rivalry between the two neighbours.

An emotional Naseem Shah remembered his mom after his heroics. His mom died in 2019, just a day before his international debut and Naseem, who is just 20 years old now, was missing his mom after making his country proud.

Talking just after his heroics, a visibly emotional and relieved Naseem Shah said,

"Mai sirf yehi kahunga, ki kaash aaj meri ammi dekh sakti. Mujhse kuch bola nahi jaara."

Naseem Shah is an integral part of Pakistan's bowling attack as they aim to win the Asia Cup and World Cup 2023. His ability to swing the new ball and hit yorkers at death is special and he would be hoping to make his late mom proud in the upcoming mega events.
