[Watch] Mohammad Asif Belted By Local Player; Fans Mock Him For Babar Azam Warning

Mohammad Asif recently made some bold remarks about Babar Azam, including that he could bowl a maiden over against him today. When a video of Asif being hammered by a local player went viral, fans of Babar did not hold back, remembering what the former Pakistan bowler had claimed.

Asif was one of Pakistan’s most accurate fast bowlers earlier. However, due to fixing charges, his career did not go as he would have liked. After that, a local batsman smashed the 40-year-old for numerous sixes over deep mid-wicket and long-on in a local tournament in Pakistan, making the matter even worse.

However, Babar did not respond to Asif’s comments. The 28-year-old, currently the No. 1-ranked ODI batsman in the world, hit a classy 84-ball 80 in his first outing in India, against New Zealand. Hence, it is safe to say that Babar’s World Cup preparations began well in Hyderabad.
