Speaking about his experience in a documentary by ESPNcricinfo titled 'The Incredible Rise of Haris Rauf', the fast bowler conveyed his admiration for Kohli's unparalleled concentration levels even during net sessions.

“When I was a net bowler for the Indian team and was bowling to Virat Kohli, I felt like he knew exactly where the ball was going to hit his bat. He was very focused and that showed how sharp his concentration was,” said Rauf.

Rauf described how bowling to Kohli felt as if he was competing in an official match, emphasizing Kohli’s extraordinary focus and understanding of the game.

“Even during practice sessions in the nets, it felt like I was playing a match against him, despite being a net bowler. His remarkable control and intensity made me realise why he has such a reputation in the game,” added the young speedster.

Rauf's cricket journey experienced a staggering rise in the 2019-20 Big Bash League (BBL) when he represented the Melbourne Stars. His formidable raw pace along with a remarkable five-wicket haul and a hat-trick, made headlines, solidifying his reputation on the international stage.

Further adding to his accomplishments, Rauf's association with Lahore Qalandars saw him as part of the team that clinched consecutive titles in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier this year.
