[Watch] MI's Head Coach Mark Boucher 'Shuts Up' On Rohit's Captaincy Removal Question

The MI franchise made a very bold decision to remove Rohit Sharma from captaincy ahead of IPL 2024 and they suffered a lot since then. They have lost followers on social media and Hardik who replaced Rohit as captain also was criticised from all corners.

Mark Boucher, the head coach in an interview few months ago tried to explain the logic behind Rohit's removal but it backfired quite badly as Rohit's wife Ritika, came up with a comment that lot of things are wrong with the decision, that created shockwaves around the cricketing world. 

It clearly indicated that Rohit Sharma and his family are not happy with the decision to remove Rohit as captain and the reaction from Ritika spiced up the matter even further.

Mark Boucher came under lot of criticism and that interview was eventually deleted and it seems that MI head coach has decided to not speak anything on this issue.

In a press conference ahead of IPL 2024, he was asked about the decision again but the South African just nodded and refrained from speaking a single word. It would be interesting to see how MI shape up in IPL 2024 and how Boucher and Pandya deal with Rohit Sharma when he joins the MI camp ahead of IPL 2024.
