In what could be deemed as inadequate behavior, members of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) were seen hurling 'BOO' and 'Cheat' chants towards the Australian cricket players on Day 5 of the second Ashes 2023 series against England.

The incident took place during the lunch session on Day 5, when a controversial run-out call against Jonny Bairstow went in Australia's favour, which angered the crowd present at Lord's Cricket Ground. In the video, MCC members can been heard greeting the Australian players 'CHEAT' and 'BOOING' chants as they climbed the stairs and go into the Lord's Long Room.

In another incident, MCC members were found engaging in a verbal spat with openers Usman Khawaja and David Warner, which resulted in the 'custodians of the game' suspending three members, and ended up apologizing to the Australian team.

As per 'The Age, ' several MCC members felt "disgusted" by the behaviour displayed by people using insulting language against the touring Australian side.

Meanwhile, Australia, who lead the Ashes 2023 series 2-0, will meet England on July 6 in the third Test.
