Mayank Yadav, 21-year-old, young and sensational bowler, launched himself in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 edition. 

The Delhi-based cricketer became the talk of the town and grabbed the limelight and soon etched his name in the records books after bowling the fastest delivery in the cash-rich league. 

The sensational bowler is known for his terrific combination of raw speed and extraordinary pace, and he was also the first player in the history of IPL to win the Player of The Match award in the two consecutive matches he has played.

Mayank faced injury in the game against Gujarat Titans (GT) and he walked off the field just bowling one over. The right-arm pacer looked in trouble right from the first ball he bowled, and ended up giving 13 runs.


Mayank Yadav Set To Make Comeback Against CSK  

Mayank Yadav has shaken off the niggle and it's good news for LSG fans as the ace pacer is ready to make a comeback and is fit to play against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He had gotten injured during the match against GT and missed the subsequent fixtures against Delhi and Kolkata. 

On Wednesday, Lucknow shared a video of Mayank Yadav back in training. The uncapped bowler was bowling under the careful watch of Justin Langer, head coach of LSG.

The 21-year-old pace sensation made waves on cricketing circles and among fans and bowling thunderbolts over 150 click consistently. He even bowled a 156.7 delivery to Punjab Kings' skipper Shikhar Dhawan to announce himself in the IPL 2024.

He suffered a hip injury and the franchise wanted to protect the fast bowler by managing his workload.
