Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have had a miserable start to their Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) edition and the franchise is placed in the 10th position after losing their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 25 runs on Monday at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

The 'Bold Army' was completely outplayed by the Sunrisers, after winning the toss and choosing to bowl first, the RCB's bowling lineup was exposed.

The only thing that turned out in RCB's favour in the match was Dinesh Karthik's magnificent knock of 83 runs in 35 balls which included 7 sixes and 4 fours.

The Australian and SRH stalwart Travis Head slammed 102 runs in 39 balls, his first ever-century in the Indian Premier League. Along with him explosive batters, Heinrich Klaasen smashed a fiery half-century to guide Hyderabad to a massive total of 287/3.

RCB's Old Tweet For Nepal's 314 Total Goes Viral

Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (formerly Bangalore) old 'joystick' tweet for Nepal's 314-run total went viral after they conceded 287 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League Match no. 30.

Last year, RCB on their official social media account (on X) tweeted 'Somebody Take Away Their Joystick' for Nepal after they recorded the highest-ever T20 total. Sunrisers Hyderabad's total of 287/3 is the second-highest T20 total.

The Faf du Plessis side is last in the points table of IPL 2024, with the sixth loss against Hyderabad in the seven matches they have played.

RCB will play its next match against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 21, 2024, at Eden Gardens.
