Manchester Originals must be the happy they have held themselves after a couple of early hiccups in the tournament. They have won three of their last four games and as a result, are sitting on the third position in the league standings.
Skipper Jos Buttler has led the team from the front as he is currently the highest run-scorer in the tournament. Jamie Overton is another in-form man with the bat for the men in black, who destroyed the Superchargers with a 30-ball 83 when these two sides met earlier in the competition.
In addition, Phil Salt found his form back at the right in Originals’ last win over the Trent Rockets. This will be the second time Buttler and his men will be facing the Superchargers this season and will be hoping to make it two wins in a row against them.

Northern Superchargers
On the other hand, the Wayne Parnell-led Northern Superchargers will be looking to avenge the one-sided defeat against the Originals at Headingley last Sunday.
The men in purple got off to a great start as they won each of their first two games in the tournament. However, they lost their way very badly after that as they lost three games consecutively, including one against the Originals last week.
The Superchargers are currently placed fifth in the points table and really cannot afford another loss at this stage of the tournament. Parnell will be hoping his side turn things around as soon as possible and mark the beginning of their race to the knockouts with a win at Old Trafford.
