On the 29th of October, in a thrilling World Cup match where India triumphed over the defending champions, England, Rohit Sharma emerged as a true hero. With the top order crumbling, Sharma stood tall to score an impressive 87 runs.

Meanwhile, as per a video doing rounds on social media, Sharma has his fingers taped, suggesting he might be battling an acute finger injury. Earlier, the veteran batter was hit on his wrist just prior to the England game, and as it seems, his palm and two fingers have been taped for this reason.

Remarkably, Sharma's minor injury, which should have required four weeks of rest, did not deter him from continuing to play for the national team.

Even when Sharma and his teammates arrived in Mumbai for their upcoming match, his injured finger was visible, yet he soldiered on. Rohit Sharma is leaving no stone unturned in his efforts to contribute to India's World Cup campaign.

Next on the horizon, Rohit's team will face Sri Lanka on the 2nd of November, a Thursday. India has remained undefeated in the 2023 World Cup thus far, and Rohit Sharma's determination and courage are significant in their continued success.
