In the 30th match of the World Cup 2023, Afghanistan's star all-rounder Rashid Khan showcased his bowling prowess once again, leaving fans and opponents in awe. The crucial moment arrived in the 36th over when Rashid Khan, in his 100th ODI match, delivered a deceptive googly as Dhananjaya de Silva struggled to find his footing against the spin maestro.

De Silva had faced a series of dot balls from Rashid Khan, and as the sixth ball of the over was unleashed, Khan's magic came to life. He clean-bowled De Silva with a delivery that left spectators speechless. The googly, pitched at 89.8 kmph, landed on a full length around the off stump, turning sharply to deceive De Silva completely.

Dhananjaya de Silva, who had been struggling to read Rashid's variations, couldn't gauge the delivery correctly.
