All-rounder Hardik Pandya received a heroic welcome from his neighbours after India's triumph in the recently concluded T20 World Cup, a testament to his immense popularity and the crucial role he played in the tournament.

Hardik Pandya's life took a 360-degree turn in a span of 6 months. From being the most hated captain of an IPL franchise to being India's T20 World Cup victory hero, the all-rounder's life came full circle in Barbados on June 29. 

The Mumbai Indians captain dismissed Heinrich Klaasen just when the game was slipping away and defended 16 runs off the final over to guide the men in blue to a historic victory at the ICC tournament final.

That being said, following the conclusion of a long day of celebrations, Hardik Pandya returned home to reunite with his family, who backed him through thick and thin. However, before Pandya could meet his family, his neighbours had arranged a mega welcome celebration for him. 

Amid a wave of dhols and music, Hardik Pandya was mobbed by his neighbours, who wanted to congratulate him on India's historic victory and for the instrumental role he played on the eve of the finals.

Cheers, applause, and chants of "Hardik, Hardik!" filled the air, reflecting the pride and admiration the community felt for their star cricketer. 

Overwhelmed by the warm reception, Pandya tried his best to beat the mob and somehow reach home to reunite with his family.

Meanwhile, back home, Hardik's family had also arranged a small celebration for him. He reunited with his son Agastya, whereas his estranged wife, Natasa Stankovic, was missing from the frame amidst divorce rumours.
