The 2024 Massy Women's Caribbean Premier League is on the cards and the Trinbago Knight Riders fixated their four overseas players by completing the signing of Indian stars Jemimah Rodriguez and Shikha Pandey.

In a significant initiative, the CPL franchise invested in Women's cricket to organise a three-team tournament. The inaugural tournament was held in 2022, and this year, the league will enter its third season.

The 2024 Massy Women's Caribbean Premier is scheduled from August 21 to 29. It will comprise a total of 7 games with Brian Lara Cricket Academy being the common and only venue.

Meanwhile, ahead of the player draft, Trinbago Knight Riders announced two major acquisitions of overseas stars. Jemimah Rodriguez and Shikha Pandey, two of India's biggest stars, will join Australia's Meg Lanning and Jess Jonassen as the four fixed overseas players for the Knight Riders.

Jemimah Rodriguez, known for her aggressive batting and electric fielding, has become a standout performer in women's cricket. She plays in several franchise leagues, and she is expected to add firepower to the Knight Riders' batting lineup.

On the other hand, Shikha Pandey brings a wealth of experience and skill. She is an excellent fast bowler capable of producing swing and seam on favourable wickets. Her knack for picking up crucial wickets and containing runs in pressure situations will be vital for the team.

Meanwhile, TKK still have 6 spots left in the team which will be filled at the draft scheduled to take place later in the month.
