The dislike towards Hardik Pandya appears to be growing steadily as time goes on. Following Mumbai Indians (MI)'s loss to Gujarat Titans (GT), a concerning event took place at a public screening.

Displeased fans were spotted throwing shoes and various objects at the screen, indicating a notable rise in dissatisfaction. This incident occurred during a public screening where the game was projected onto a wall using a projector.

The return of Hardik Pandya to captain the Mumbai Indians hasn't been well received by some of the team's fans, leading to a rift among supporters. And the match results are not doing any good to Hardik as well.

In the recent match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, the Pat Cummins-led side set an IPL record by scoring 277 runs. The MI team began their innings on a positive note, with their top batters delivering strong performances from the outset.

However, the momentum slowed down notably when Hardik Pandya came to bat at number 5. Despite every other Mumbai Indians batter scoring at a strike rate of over 200, Hardik's strike rate was round 120.

This dip in scoring pace contributed to Mumbai Indians losing the game by 31 runs. Even during Mumbai bowling, there were times when Pandya was absolutely clueless.

MI's upcoming match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Wankhede Stadium marks their first home game of the season, scheduled for April 1st.
