'We've A Young Bowling Attack And...' -MI Captain Hardik Pandya Analyzes SRH Loss

In a truly remarkable Indian Premier League encounter, both teams - Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians - collectively scored over 500 runs in 40 overs, a feat that challenges the norms of cricketing standards.

The clash between SRH and MI was nothing short of a blockbuster spectacle.

Despite scoring 246 runs on Wednesday, the five-time champions lost the game lop-sidedly, and the main culprit behind it was MI's bowling and clueless captaincy from Hardik Pandya at times.

Defending his team's cause, Pandya called Mumbai's bowling young and said they will learn from the thumping 31-run defeat.

"Wicket was good, 277 no matter how bad or good you bowl, if the opposition has to score that much, they have batted well. They (the bowlers) were good, it was tough out there, almost 500 runs were scored and the wicket was helping the batters, we could have done a few things here and there, but having said that, we have a young bowling attack and we will learn," Hardik Pandya said in the post game interview.

Bowling first, Mumbai faced a tough start, especially after Hardik Pandya's first over. If Tim David had caught Travis Head, things might have turned out differently. But luck wasn't on their side thereafter.

Except for Jasprit Bumrah, all the MI bowlers faced a tough time. Bumrah's exceptional skill saved Mumbai from an even bigger target. Although, SRH has set a new record in the IPL by scoring a total of 277 runs, beating RCB's previous record of 263 against Pune.
