In an 11-over innings for SRH during their IPL 2015 stalemate against RCB at Hyderabad, Moises Henriques at number three slogged his way to an imperial 20-ball half-century to level-up with David Warner for the fastest-50 record.
The hard-hitting Australian all-rounder even put up 103 runs off just seven overs alongside Warner in the game, and belted five boundaries and four sixes overall in his splendid 22-ball 57. Moises Henriques’ rampant onslaught, however, was tendered in vain as RCB mowed down a revised target in less than six overs later in the run-chase.

Former SRH resolute David Warner bashed an unmitigated 126 off just 59 balls against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the halfway stage of the IPL 2017 season. Remarkably, the T20 barbarian pumped out the first 50 rubs of his innings from just 20 deliveries, all inside the opening powerplay overs.
Warner’s effort helped him level his own record of fastest half-century from an SRH batter, levelling up with his with IPL 2015 feat against CSK. As it turned out, his match-winning hundred against KKR in SRH’s 2017 home game was just one of the many marvelous batting acts of the cricketer’s ‘Orange Cap’ winning run of the season.

David Warner made a turbulent 28-ball 61 against CSK at Hyderabad in match number 34 of the IPL 2015 season. The legendary Australian opener tore apart CSK’s new-ball attack, comprising of Mohit Sharma and Ashish Nehra with a barrage of powerplay boundaries upfront.
Warner raced to a 20-ball half-century in just the sixth over of the innings, and ended up contributing 61 in his 86-run opening stand with Shikhar Dhawan. His batting bombardment against CSK set up a competitive 192-run total for his side, which turned out to be 22 runs better than the best run-chase efforts of the MS Dhoni-led team later in the game.

Before Abhishek Sharma’s dead-eyed tonking in the high-scoring innings, it was opening batsman and SRH debutant Travis Head who made instant impact for his franchise, smearing 62 runs off 24 balls against Mumbai Indians in the game.
Head smacked nine boundaries and three sixes, and blazed his way to an 18-ball half-century inside the opening powerplay itself. The Australian-based opener ended up shattering a number of milestones through his raging effort, including the SRH record of fastest half-century, until Abhishek Sharma toppled the same 15 minutes later in the innings. Abhishek and Travis Head’s blitzkriegs also set up SRH’s record IPL total of 277-3.

SRH’s firebrand youngster Abhishek Sharma muscled 63 runs from just 23 deliveries against Mumbai Indians in match number eight of the IPL 2024 season. The 23-year-old clattered three boundaries and seven sixes in his whirlwind knock, and raced to his half-century in just the 16th ball of his innings.
The youngster took a special liking to senior Mumbai Indians spinner Piyush Chawla during his all-out assault, considering he thwacked India’s World Cup winner for three huge sixes in a space of four deliveries at one stage of his knock. Abhishek Sharma’s 16-ball 50 took him past teammate Travis Head’s 18-ball record to tonk the fastest-ever half-century of SRH’s rich IPL history.
