Rajasthan Royals (RR) registered their eighth win in nine games of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Dhruv Jurel starred with the captain, Sanju Samson as they strung a 121-run partnership in the chase of 197 against the host, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

Jurel after his first IPL fifty, once again, dedicated it to his father with a salute to him as his father is an ex-Army man. His family was present in the stadium and the whole family was seen sharing an emotional moment after the game, as tweeted by the official Twitter handle of IPL.

In the video, Dhruv is seen hugging his family members and everyone is evidently happy and emotional for him after he won RR the match. They are then asked to pose for a beautiful family picture by the photographer.

The wicketkeeper batter, recently also made his Test debut and celebrated in the same way, with a salute for his father. However, as told by him, this is the first time he did it with the man himself in the stands.

The 22-year-old, after making a mark in his first season for RR and then in the Tests for India struggled in the initial phase of this season while only scoring only 50 runs in 8 innings before scoring a crucial 52*(34) after early wickets against LSG on Saturday evening.

However, the knock looked too late for the UP youngster to impress the selectors to board that flight to the World Cup, but he surely made a mark to stay in contention as India will look to plan for the future post the World Cup.
