Pakistan's Azam Khan has been heavily criticised for his fitness more so after the Men In Green lost their 4-match series to England in the lead-up to the T20 World Cup 2024.

Now a video going viral on the social media platform 'X' shows a Pakistani Journalist, Mohsin Ali, openly body-shaming and bullying Azam Khan with some seriously troubling remarks.

His derogatory remarks about his weight and appearance have illuminated how journalists in their own country don't hold back in expressing respite towards their country's players.

His selection in the team has been time and again criticised in the media by former players and experts due to his poor form. Azam, who is the son of former Pakistan captain Moin Khan, failed to perform during the series.

Some cricketers from Pakistan have also criticised skipper, Babar Azam for favoritism specifically towards the 25-year-old batter. 

During, Pakistan's must-win game against England Azam dropped a dolly with the big gloves behind the stumps at a crucial juncture in the game. Moreover, he even failed to significantly contribute with the bat as he was dismissed for a duck.

It would a serious point of discussion whether Pakistan would opt to play him in the T20 World Cup 2024, however, the fact that he is being body shamed shows the cruelty and insensitivity of people towards the wicketkeeper batter.
