Pakistan are finally all set to travel to India for the forthcoming ODI World Cup, scheduled to get underway on October 5. The Men in Green are one of the favorites to win the prestigious trophy, and Babar Azam, their captain of the ship, is equally confident that they can pull it off.
Babar attended a press conference before departing for India, which was broadcast exclusively live on the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)'s social media account. There, he was asked whether he is aiming to get a place in the 'Top 4' of the showpiece event.
The No. 1 ODI batsman in the world, Babar, responded that Top 4 is "too low" for his team and that all he wants is to win the championship on his first trip to India.

Further, Babar highlighted they had to play too many matches for more than two and a half months, and that's why they did not do a training camp after the Asia Cup exit.
In addition, he also mentioned there is ample time left before they begin the World Cup campaign, which will begin on October 6 against the Netherlands at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
There will be a 9-hour layover in Dubai before Pakistan takes off from Lahore at 3 AM (local time) tonight. The group is anticipated to arrive in Hyderabad, India on Wednesday.
