After securing two consecutive wins, team India is all set to take on Australia in the final ODI of the three-match series in Rajkot on Wednesday, September 27. Rohit Sharma will be back on the field after being rested in the first two ODIs in a bid to take some time off from the game ahead of a hectic World Cup campaign.

The Indian skipper was spotted participating in team India's practice session on Tuesday in preparation for the final ODI in Rajkot.

While Rohit was on his way to practice session, Abhishek Nayar and former Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra, along with host Anant Tyagi, were spotted doing Jio Cinema's match preview show for the third ODI right from the Saurashtra Cricket Association Ground.

During their Jio Cinema's live broadcast, Rohit, known for his hilarious appearances and sense of humour on camera, made a funny appearance in the chat between Mishra and Nayar with his helmet on.

Mishra, who is also Rohit's former teammate, took a short interview on his preparation for the forthcoming World Cup. In between the conversation, Rohit, who was in a joyous mood, asked Mishra about his eyes being red.

The veteran spinner replied that he could not sleep last night before the Indian skipper roasted him again. Rohit was impressed by Mishra's commitment to broadcasting but mocked him again by saying he never showed the same commitment on the field.

Mishra further gave a fitting reply and complained that Rohit never called him up to play in his team. Following the hilarious banter, Rohit left the conversation and promised to meet Mishra and Nayar after the practice session.

Heading into the third ODI, India has an unassailable 2-0 lead. Rohit Sharma will only need to make sure the players get the best out of themselves as this will be the final fixture before Team India gears up for the World Cup warm-up matches.

Rohit was in action last time in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2023, where he led team India to the title, beating Sri Lanka in their backyard in the final.
