In a heartwarming video that has gone viral on social media, Mumbai Indians (MI) fast bowling sensation Akash Madhwal can be seen engaging in a candid chat with his fanboy named Vedant.

The right-arm pacer kindly invited the young fan to attend all the team's games, promising to arrange tickets for him.

Since Madhwal's debut for Mumbai, he has captured the hearts of fans worldwide with his bowling brilliance. Now, he's winning hearts off the field too.

In the latest video circulating on social media, Madhwal was involved in a friendly interaction with a fan. It starts with Madhwal signing his fan's cap and giving him a warm embrace.

He then invited the young MI fan to support MI in upcoming matches, promising to arrange tickets. Madhwal even shared his contact details with Vedant without hesitation. Upon meeting Vedant's father, the Uttarakhand star encourages them to attend matches and urges Vedant to keep playing the sport.

This happened after Madhwal bowled a spirited spell in which he bagged three wickets and emerged as the most successful bowler on the night when pacers from both teams dominated the proceedings.

Playing his first game of the tournament, Madhwal registered figures of 3/20 in his four overs, but despite his best efforts, the Royals went on to chase 126 in 15.3 overs. Madhwal now has 17 wickets, the joint second-most wickets by an Indian in their first nine IPL matches.

Earlier, MI lost their top four inside the powerplay after electing to bat first. Trent Boult dismantled MI’s top-order with three wickets in his first two overs. Although Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma tried to show resilience, Yuzvendra Chahal's three-fer made sure they didn't go past 130

A target of less than 130 was chased by RR with relative ease at the end, courtesy of Riyan Parag’s sparkling innings. As a result, the hosts suffered their third consecutive loss, still failing to secure a win.
